The Puerto Rico MMIS DDI project provided Puerto Rico with its first Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) by partnering with the State of Florida and implementing a separate instance of Florida’s MMIS solution in Puerto Rico. MMISME’s responsibilities on this project included serving as the MITA Subject Matter Expert (SME) and leading the PRMMIS CMS Certification effort from the Project Management Office (PMO) perspective, as required by the CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Lifecycle (MECL).
