Role: Project Manager/Business Analyst
Responsibilities: Served in a DCH staff augmentation role as a member of the DCH IT Project Management Office (PMO) where I was responsible for daily project management duties for Provider, Web Portal, Rules Engine and Workflow functional areas for Georgia’s design, development and implementation (DDI) transitioning DCH from ACS and its Multi Health Net (MHN) MMIS to HP and it’s Interchange MMIS solution.

Tasks associated with this role included:
-Facilitating review, tracking approval and obtaining final sign off of key deliverables including Technical Design Documents, Integrated System Testing (IST) Case Results and Operational Procedure Manuals.
-Participating and preparing for the DCH MMIS User Acceptance Testing (UAT) which includes facilitating test case creation, tracking defects and reporting on key metrics pertaining to the completion of UAT.
-Ensuring DCH test cases were in alignment with related MITA business areas and processes
-Creating, implementing and training DCH staff on various approval and review processes.
-Assisting in data conversion process including assisting with review of mappings and reviewing and initiating requests for information from the current contractor.
-Participating in Provider Pilot Testing Planning and Execution initiative
-Participating in Joint Turnover Meetings with DCH, current contractor and the new contractor in preparation for go live activities
-Participating in Operational Readiness Test (ORT) Planning, execution and results review.
-Serving as a SME to facilitate DCH staff understanding of processes or functions proposed to be implemented by the state’s new contractor/fiscal agent (HP).
